Gaza and Sharia

Hmmm….

PC: Talk to me about Gaza, your hometown. What, in your opinion, is really going on there?

ND: The world needs to understand the roots of the eternal conflict, which is the Sharia law commandment to kill all Jews. Peace can only happen if such roots are exposed and understood.

For decades, Arabs had demanded that Israel end the occupation, and in 2005, Israel did so, disengaging unilaterally from Gaza. With their demands met, there was no ‘cycle of violence’ to respond to, no further justification for anything other than peace and prosperity. With its central location and beautiful beaches on the East Mediterranean, a peaceful and prosperous Gaza could become another Hong Kong; a shining trade and commerce center. But instead of choosing peace they chose Islamic jihad. Arabs of Ghaza rolled their rocket launchers to the border and started bombing Israeli civilians.

The reasons for choosing violence over peace is due to Sharia. Mainstream Sharia books define Jihad as: “to war against non-Muslims to establish the religion.” (Shafi’i Sharia 09.0). Jihad is not just the duty of the individual Muslim, it is also the main duty of the Muslim head of State (the Calipha): “A Muslim calipha is entrusted to take his people into war and command offensive and aggressive Jihad. He must organize Jihad against any non-Muslim government. [Link: PJ Media]

Oh, if you want to call me an Islamaphobe (as has been done in the recent past) consider this:

I think what you are seeing in me that you call islamaphobia is actually a my deep dislike to totalitarian movements, their supporters and their enablers.

Most Muslims get a pretty raw deal from “Islam” in Islamic countries. They ruled by Mullahs and strong men for the benefit of the mullahs and strong men with the vast majority of Muslims have there potential, their freedom and their human capital wasted.
[…]
Note: those in favor of Sharia and the mullahs and the other totalitarian elites in the Muslim world who benefit from subjugation of regular people (who are called Muslims), want you to call their enemies racists or islamaphobes or other slurs becuase that makes their time easier.

  1. My calling you a Islamaphobe was a bit hasty, as you explained yourself further in the last post I am mostly in agreement. I would still like you to clarify your thoughts on “Anti-Islam,” since it seems a bit of a contradiction. That’s like me saying, I’m against creationism being taught in school therefore I am anti-Christian. You may disagree with certain parts of Islam(like myself) but doesn’t necessarily make you anti-Islam.

We both see eye to eye on these:
    anti-sharia
    anti-ruling-elites
    anti-totalitarian-assholes
    anti-lifesucking-political-and-social system

I’ve experienced censorship from my views on the totalitarian political system this past semester. I think you know which country I am referring to. I am never a fan of constantly have to hold back my witty comments less I criticize the wrong thing. Basically, It’s bullshit.

  2. Glen, I never took the term personally nor did I assume malicious intent on your part.

I would be glad to clarify what I mean when I say I am anti-islam.

First, we westerners by birth and culture see religion a bit different. We have a Christian or Jewish background (lapsed or active) or are secular.

Our view of what a “religion” is tends to be that a “religion” is way (or guideline) to living life a moral way with a supportive community and with a part-historical, part-mythological story. I know this is a gross simplification.

Islam though is actually three things.

    (1) It is a religion the way we in the West think of a religion “a moral way with a supportive community and a story”.

    (2) It is a legal system (or perhaps better said as a prefered legal system or model legal system or a legal system being strived for) also called Sharia.

    (3) It is a transnational political movement. This is AKA Islamism, or Political Islam or Islamofascism.

Islam as “a moral way with a supportive community with a story” is NP for me. Good for them.

Islam-as-Sharia is anti-democracy and anti-Western. Western nations that are adopting aspect of Sharia or allowing aspect of Sharia to co-exists are fooling themselves and are at best mildly suicidal. I am 100% opposed to Sharia in the west. I also recognize it as the source of much of the misery and barbarism in the Muslim world.I consider those wanting to extend Sharia even more so in those societies as enemies of humanity. Sharia is used by the religious leaders and political elites to have and maintain control over the people. It is a tool of oppression hidden as mandate from God. It is a waster of human captial and a repressor of liberty, opportunity and expression. Needless to say, I am anti-Sharia.

Islam as trans-national political movement is bent on conquering territory using 0GW, 1GW, 2GW, 3GW, 4GW or 5GW methods and extending Sharia to those locations and placing the people under the control of religious leaders and totalitarian political elites. There is no reason for the West to be neutral on this matter. Islam-as-a-transnational-political-movement aims at the destruction and/or subjection of the West and the suppression of the Western way. In case I am not being clear, I am against this.

We in the West, have been trained to act PC and to embrace diversity and multiculturalism for the last 25+ years. We tend to see Islam just as a religion and not as repressive legal system or as political movement.

The west is ill served by its elites and media that fail to point this out and who do not act accordingly.

We should not be surprised though when the supporters of Islam-as-Sharia and Islam-as-political-movement hide behind Islam-as-personal-religion.
