Why is it a “sensitive subject”? Why is it “kind of problematic”? And above all: why isn’t there a single reporter in the entire United States who will ask Ibrahim Hooper or Ahmed Rehab or Corey Saylor or anyone at CAIR these questions?

Along the same lines, a civil suit filed by the estate of 9/11 victim and former high-ranking FBI counter-terrorism agent John O’Neill, Sr. asserted that CAIR’s goal “is to create as much self-doubt, hesitation, fear of name-calling, and litigation within police departments and intelligence agencies as possible so as to render such authorities ineffective in pursuing international and domestic terrorist entities.”

CAIR endorsed an October 22, 2002 “National Day of Protest” whose premise was: “Since September 11th thousands of Muslims, Arabs and South Asians have been rounded up, detained and disappeared. … Hard-won civil liberties and protections have been stripped away as part of the government’s ‘war on terrorism.’ The USA-PATRIOT Act brings in a new set of repressive laws and restrictions on people and grants even greater power to law enforcement agents of all kinds.” Moreover, this document explicitly defended the convicted murderers Mumia Abu-Jamal and Leonard Peltier, as well as Lynne Stewart and Jose Padilla, who were convicted on terrorism-related charges — depicting all four as persecuted political prisoners of a repressive American government.

CAIR was a signatory to a February 20, 2002 document, composed by C. Clark Kissinger’s radical group Refuse & Resist, condemning military tribunals and the detention of immigrants apprehended in connection with post-9/11 terrorism investigations. The document lamented that “the denial of any due process for Arab[s], Muslim[s], South Asians and others” bore “chilling similarities to a police state.”

In February 2003, CAIR joined the American Muslim Council, the American Muslim Alliance, and the Muslim Public Affairs Council in forming a coalition to repeal and amend the Patriot Act — alleging that it violated the civil liberties of Americans, particularly Muslims. CAIR also endorsed the Civil Liberties Restoration Act of 2004, which was designed to roll back, in the name of protecting civil liberties, vital national-security policies that had been adopted after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

CAIR promotes a radical Islamic vision, as evidenced by the fact that its co-founder Omar Ahmad told a Fremont, California audience in July 1998: “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran … should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.” In a similar spirit, co-founder Ibrahim Hooper told a reporter in 1993: “I wouldn’t want to create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future.” In 2003 Hooper stated that if Muslims ever become a majority in the United States, they will likely seek to replace the U.S. Constitution with Islamic law, which they deem superior to man-made law. In the late 1980s, Ihsan Bagby, who would later become a CAIR Board member, stated that Muslims “can never be full citizens of this country,” referring to the United States, “because there is no way we can be fully committed to the institutions and ideologies of this country.”

Tom Friedman Says Something Stupid

You may think Guantánamo Bay is a prison camp in Cuba for Al Qaeda terrorists. A lot of the world thinks it’s a place we send visitors who don’t give the right answers at immigration. I will not vote for any candidate who is not committed to dismantling Guantánamo Bay and replacing it with a free field hospital for poor Cubans. Guantánamo Bay is the anti-Statue of Liberty.[Link]

The American Left’s hatred of the US will win out over whatever views and beliefs that they might have. In their mid, all US capabilities and actions must be thwarted.

I don’t care if those who hate and are opposed to the US hate us more because we lock up terrorist at Gitmo. I don’t care if the enemies of my country want the prison closed.

If the world thinks that Gitmo is a giant torture chamber, that is partially fault of the left-leaning American press led by the Friedman’s own New York Times.

A divided America cannot win a global 4GW.

Congress Had A Chance to Apply an Anti-Lawfare Measure…

There are several possible whys individuals voted against the Counter-Lawfare protection:

• Their Cryptocalvinism Universalism ideology maneuvers them into stupid position
• There are afraid of Islam (and appeasement is their instinctual – their fingertip feeling – reaction)

The Flying Inams – A Fifth Column in Action

My New Term: Open Source Espionage

With the actions of the New York Times fresh in my mind, and while driving home listening to some leftists on NPR re-assure themselves, I yelled out a phrase – Open Source Espionage.

Open Source Espionage (OSE?) will be used in 4GW (and 5GW…though I haven’t thought about this in that context).

Consider this clear espionage scenario:

• A US Treasury department official…
• smuggles out the details of a legal but secret US Intelligence Program on a USB drive…
• Passes it off to Abu Quisling who “pays him for his expenses and risk”…
• Who shoves it up his ass…
• Before flying to Europe…
• To hand it off to the brothers…

We would call the above espionage – without a doubt.

Just like the methods of war-fighting change in 4GW, it appears that some new intelligence techniques now exists.

In the New York Times instance they, as anti-anti-islamofascists, have committed espionage against the US, but delivered the intelligence through a 4GW-ish method – public electronic information and media publications.

The anti-anti-islamofacists I listened to on NPR (and I presume elsewhere), are claiming freedom of speech or freedom of the press in the support of this successful espionage operation against the US. Those freedoms are about political speech and political media publishing. I don’t think it is meant to be an absolute right to say or print anything (slander, libel, death threats, orders to commit crime, etc.). Espionage by passing information via words and newsprint, is espionage just as if the information has been left at a dead drop on a microdot or smuggled out up Abu Quislings ass in a USB Thumb Drive.

The US leaders and public don’t really understand 4GW or how public policy and national security activity are effected by it (I am still gaining my understanding of it). The US leaders and public are still living in a mostly 2GW (slightly 3GW) world-view. They don’t really understand the changes wrought by 4GW (and the emerging 5GW). Perhaps, we have also gone soft a bit with out success over the last 25 years.

So what can be done to counter Open Source Espionage? I have a few ideas (very rough):

• update the espionage act
• educate relentlessly the U.S. leaders and public about 4GW and islamofascism
• Create a counter-terror/4GW court/legal system with pro-American Nation Lawfare opportunities
• Long-Term: need to do something about the untangling cohesivnss of the American Nation and Western Civilization
• Short-Term: What do do about the Anti-anti-islamofascist and the 4GW / proto-5GW Fifth Column? Islamofascist supporters could be sued under R.I.C.O. (Perhaps a 4GW Rico-ish legislation needed including US Lawfare Options both criminal and civil)

Anti-Anti-Islamofascists Expose US Intelligence Operation Monitoring International Financial Transactions

ZenPundit reports the the anti-anti-islamofascists strike again in an article entitled: The New York Times As Al Qaida’s Counterintelligence Arm. He writes:

Covert or cut-out financial transfers of funds are the lifeblood of jihadism and terror operations and detecting these activities is now going to be immeasurably harder, as more al Qaida funds transfers are shifted to alternate, underground, networks.

Words like treason and Fifth Column come easier to my mind nowadays.

If the citizens and residents of the USA are not mostly united about the idea of the American Nation and Western Civilization we can not hope to win the combo 4GW/5GW war that we face against the Islamofascists. How large is the internal enemy: 10% / 20% / 30% or more of the population? In 5GW fashion, are they over-represented in vital institutions (like the media, educational services, the state department, the CIA even)?

Can the enemy collapse us from within by leaking our secrets (to preserver their active fighters and the infrastructures of islamafascisim) while eliminating our collective will to fight/resist/win, and even gently dissuading us over time of the very notion that the American Nation and Western Civilization is worth preserving?

Maybe this is the cause of my insomnia.

The Zarqawi Killing: Is the Enemy and the Media Trying To Create a Small Victory From Defeat?

So Zarqawi is dead. Good. Honestly, I don’t care if the bombs killed him, or if as US or Iraqi Commando suffocated him while he was on the Ambulance.

Captain’s Quarters relates the following about the Zarqawi Killing:

The AP has caused quite a stir today by publishing an uncorroborated account by a supposed eyewitness to the death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. The witness, identified as Mohammed, says that Americans beat and stomped Zarqawi until blood flowed from his nose and he died

and

Is the AP now in the business of reporting anything anyone says about any event withou doing some rudimentary investigation first? We call that gossip, not news, and we expect better than a National Enquirer standard at the AP.

The last section sounds a little naive to me. The AP (along Reuters) seems to be neutral in the best of times, but often seems to be firmly on the enemy’s side. Whether the AP is just organizationally a Useful Idiot, or a modern Fifth Columnists, I do not know.

The Futurist also blogs on the Subject:

Predictably, the 8-10% of the US adult population that constitutes an anti-American fifth column went to great lengths to downplay the news, discredit claims of Zarqawi’s importance, or spin it in a way that attempts to make America appear as the villain.

Shrinkwrapped gives part of the solution by suggesting that the USA PIOs take an offensive position aggressively pointing out that are enemy fakes evidence and commits atrocities against it own. He rightly implies the press should be challenged to seek out the truth and look for the tricks of the enemy. I think this would work; the press is not that far gone.

To me, this is all 4GW: all message-sending, all the time. Zarqawi’s death is just another chance for the enemy and its sympathizers to send message to demoralize the US and its supporters and to separate us from allies and potential allies. Until all levels of the US (and Allied effort) understand this and practice it, our enemies will have success against us.
