Wiki for Anti-Anti-Islamofascists and the Practice of Open Source Espionage

I found a reference at SlashDot to something called Wikileaks which says:

Wikileaks is developing an uncensorable Wikipedia for untraceable mass document leaking and analysis. Our primary interest is in exposing oppressive regimes in Asia, the former Soviet bloc, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East, but we also expect to be of assistance to people of all regions who wish to reveal unethical behavior in their governments and corporations. We aim for maximum political impact. Our interface is identical to Wikipedia and usable by all types of people. We have received over 1.2 million documents so far from dissident communities and anonymous sources.
[…]
Today, with authoritarian governments in power around much of the world, increasing authoritarian tendencies in democratic governments, and increasing amounts of power vested in unaccountable corporations, the need for openness and transparency is greater than ever.
[…]
Wikileaks reduces the risks of truth tellers and improves the analysis and dissemination of leaked documents.

Wikileaks provides simple and straightforward means for anonymous and untraceable leaking of documents.
[…]
In an important sense, Wikileaks is the first intelligence agency of the people. Better principled and less parochial than any governmental intelligence agency, it is able to be more accurate and relevant. It has no commercial or national interests at heart; its only interest is the revelation of the truth. Unlike the covert activities of state intelligence agencies, Wikileaks relies upon the power of overt fact to enable and empower citizens to bring feared and corrupt governments and corporations to justice.
[…]
We propose that authoritarian governments, oppressive institutions and corrupt corporations should be subject to the pressure, not merely of international diplomacy, freedom of information laws or even periodic elections, but of something far stronger — the consciences of the people within them.
[…]
Wikileaks is not a front for the CIA, MI6, FSB or any other agency. Quite the opposite actually. It’s a global group of people with long standing dedication to the idea of improved transparency in institutions, especially government. We think better transparency is at the heart of less corruption and better democracies. By definition spy agencies want to hide information. We want to get it out to the public.

The site claims to be neutral, yet the front page seem to be mostly anti-USA stuff (content and word choice).

Weirdly, the site also has favorable reference to Daniel Ellsberg and Aldrich Ames.

Congress Had A Chance to Apply an Anti-Lawfare Measure…

…but chose not to regarding the Flying Inmans.

There are several possible whys individuals voted against the Counter-Lawfare protection:

  • Their Cryptocalvinism Universalism ideology maneuvers them into stupid position
  • There are afraid of Islam (and appeasement is their instinctual – their fingertip feeling – reaction)
  • Some may be on the other side

Anyways, read more here (Gates of Vienna) and here (Political Warfare).

Milwaukee’s Congresswoman is Meeting with the Egyption Muslim Brotherhood

You can read the story via LGF.

Gwen Moore is a sad excuse for a Congresswoman. She is sort of a less talky Maxine Waters.

The citizens of Milwaukee keep making bad choices in elected officials.

Here is an AP photo via Yahoo:

Gwen Moore hanging with the Muslim Brotherhood - Disgusting

From left to right, U.S. congresswoman Gwen Moore, Rep. Wisconsin and
congressmen David Price (D – NC), Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R – NE) and

I really can’t see myself trusting National Democrats during the rest of my voting lifetime on National Security issues. Being that I have voted mostly Democrat in the past, I find that weird and troubling.

Defining Anti-anti Barbarism

The Belmont Clubs Defines Anti-anti Barbarism:

The result is a civilization in the “process of committing suicide”, whose dominant ideology is anti-anti-barbarism, where the highest value is not to oppose even the greatest evil.
[…]
Terror, if it is anything, represents the ultimate challenge of barbarism against civilization. And if the great centers of Western learning, the giant flagships of its literacy as represented by newspapers, magazines and television stations cannot rouse themselves to oppose terrorism then in some fundamental sense it has already pre-surrendered. And this ethos of surrender, this “anti-anti-barbarism” will inevitably manifest itself in all facts of public life; a life which has been converted into a moral vacuum. Polygamy, endogamy, special dispensations for cults, the inordinate fear of giving offensive; these endless and futile accomodations to maintain a void which is rapidly being filled not by the same indefinite vapor, but is instead being occupied by a very definite point of view. A point of view that stipulates when one must wash, pray or what one should eat; that knows even the genders of vegetables. When the moral relativists cast the truth table from their ivory towers they forgot that anti-anti-bararism = ~~(~p)=~p, where p stands for civilization. It is in a word barbarism.

It is this sort of thing that makes me scared for the survival of America as Idea and America as Nation/State.

The starting point was this Democracy Project essay:

Another term for this anti-anti-barbarism is post-modernism. Balch defines post-modernism as, “the belief that people can have whatever ethics they like, an ‘anything goes’ attitude.”
[…]
I asked Maimon Schwarzchild what he thought of this post-modernist theme on campuses. He wrote me back, “I must say, my own sense is of civilization committing suicide.”

That article notes a grass-roots response by students to post-modernism:

Post-Modernism meets its match, More God. Our students aren’t so easily manipulated to vacuity as many professors might preach. Their “god”, like those similar false ones that came before, fails to meet mankind’s sense or needs.

Open Source Espionage Example

From LGF:

In a genuine scandal (as opposed to the manufactured Plamegate fraud), the Los Angeles Times casually “outs” three CIA operatives: Pilots traced to CIA renditions. (Hat tip: tedzilla.)

I’d suggest what side is the LA Times on, but I think that is pretty clear.

The Flying Inams – A Fifth Column in Action

This from PajamasMedia on the Flying Inams:

[…]
Another passenger, not the note writer, was an Arabic speaker sitting near two of the imams in the plane’s tail. That passenger pulled a flight attendant aside, and in a whisper, translated what the men were saying. They were invoking “bin Laden” and condemning America for “killing Saddam,” according to police reports.
[…]
A seat-belt extension can easily be used as a weapon, by wrapping the open-end of the belt around your fist and swinging the heavy metal buckle.

Still, it seemed like just another annoying development, typical when flying the friendly skies. Days after the incident, the imam would claim that the steward helped him attach the device. Pauline said he is lying. Hours later, when the police was being evacuated, the steward asked Pauline to hand him the seat-belt extension, which the imam did not attach, but placed on the floor. “I know he is lying,” Pauline said, “I had it [seat belt extension] in my hand.”
[…]
Other factors were also considered: All six imams had boarded together, with the first-class passengers – even though only one of them had a first-class ticket. Three had one-way tickets. Between the six men, only one had checked a bag.

And, Pauline said, they spread out just like the 9-11 hijackers. Two sat in first, two in the middle, and two back in the economy section. Pauline’s account is confirmed by the police report. The airline spokeswoman added that some seemed to be sitting in seats not assigned to them.
[…]
One thing that no one seemed to consider at the time, perhaps due to lack of familiarity with Islamic practice, is that the men prayed both at the gate and on the plane. Observant Muslims pray only once at sundown, not twice.

“It was almost as if they were intentionally trying to get kicked off the flight,” Pauline said.
[…]
The reaction of the remaining passengers has also gone unreported. “We applauded and cheered for the crew,” she said.

I think it was either a foiled attempt to take over the plane or it was a publicity stunt to accuse us of being insensitive,” Pauline said. “It had to be to intimidate U.S. Airways to ease up on security.
[…]

There is no other way to describe this. There is an active 5th Column in the US working toward the demise of the American System.

The Bad news: They are getting bolder – and the much of the media and the left is on their side as both useful idiots and fellow travellers.

The Good news: Americans are taking notice. It is not too late.

Two More Examples of Islamic and Anti-Anti-Islmaofascist Lawfare

Via InstaPundit:

My advice to Saudis who don’t want to be accused of supporting terrorism: Get your country to stop being a major source of funds for terrorists. That’s better than engaging in legal terrorism against a free press of the sort that isn’t allowed in your own benighted country.

Why A Democrat Party Run US Congress Will Be a Bad Thing for The US

From LGF:

Here’s an interesting post at Say Anything, revealing that more than three quarters of House Democrats have been given the seal of approval by radical Islamic front group CAIR: Who The Terror Apologists Support.

The party of Scoop Jackson and Harry Truman is gone. That is not good for the USA.

Senator Feingold doesn’t like term “islamic fascism”, says it insults Islam

The Milwaukee Journal reports:

Sen. Russ Feingold said Monday that President Bush and his administration should stop using the term “Islamic fascism” when describing the fight against al-Qaida, saying it is a flawed description, is “insulting” to Muslims and damages American efforts to make friends in the Muslim world. “Call them whatever you want – monsters, butchers – but the use of the term ‘Islamic fascist’ puts the name of Islam . . . in an exceptionally negative light,” the Wisconsin Democrat said in an interview. “It’s insulting and extremely unwise from a tactical and strategic point of view.”

Senator Feingold doesn’t like term “Islamic fascism”, says it insults Islam.

I say the reverse.

It is attempt to isolate and separate normal peace loving Muslims, from the crazy terrorist and terrorist supporting islamofascists who want to behead and bomb their way to a universal caliphate under (misery-spreading + human potential wasting) sharia law, crushing all those in their path

When domestic issues were supreme, I voted for him. Given the failure of McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform (feel good and righteous, but create bad public policy effects) and his anti-America ostrich like security policy views…never again. He does not face election again until 2010.

Lawfare Attempt by Human Rights Watch

Via Volokh.com:

Roth claims that international humanitarian law required Israel to “treat[] Lebanese civilians as human beings whose lives are as valuable as Israelis’.” Can you imagine any government doing this? In other words, a terrorist group in Gaza or Lebanon is attacking Israeli civilian targets. According to Roth’s logic, Israel can only retaliate if it’s retaliation will cost no more civilian lives in Gaza or Lebanon than would be caused by the terrorists if Israel didn’t try to stop them. This is a formula that would paralyze not only Israel, but the U.S., Russian, India, and any other country that feels the need to pursue a military response to terrorism. Surely, the Allied forces inadvertantly killed more Afghan civilians than the number of Westerners likely at immediate risk from Al Qaeda and the Taliban! The type of “international law” and “human rights” activism that Roth and co. represent is scrupulously amoral in failing to consider that the aggressor should be held responsible for the deaths on both sides, as you can’t expect any nation to allow its civilians to be attacked and not retaliate militarily. And it’s also ridiculously utopian, in the sense that it expects citizens of a democratic polity to value the lives of civilians on the other side, including civilians who openly support terrorist enemies, as highly as their own, their family’s and their countrymen’s.

The true goal of the Lawfare is mentioned in passing in the middle of the above quote:

This is a formula that would paralyze not only Israel, but the U.S., Russian, India, and any other country that feels the need to pursue a military response to terrorism.

The above is a goal of the anti-anti-islamofascists.

A Shrinkwrapped Comment That Makes Me Think

A commenter on ShrinkWrapped writes:

I think the tide is turning to the point of sacrificing Israel for the sake of preventing a nuclear confrontation with Iran. Clearly if the US will not enable its ally Israel to destroy or seriously cripple a mutual enemy, hizbullah, in a proxy state of Iran, Lebanon, there can be no hope for any direct confrontation with Iran over its developing nuclear weapons. If you can’t kick a thug’s butt in an alley, you certainly can’t do it in their home – that is common sense.

It might be an interesting study for some historian to search for any hint of a culture or civilization that managed to survive while allowing for a significant portion of its population to openly and overtly adhere to the enemy.

This Unfrozen Caveman Voter Is A Bit Pissed

In TCS Daily, an article called Unfrozen Caveman Voter:

Don’t caricature this attitude with a desire for more invasions, more nation-building, more regime-change, random airstrikes, or wanton slaughter. It’s hard to say just what policy exactly might satisfy the caveman demographic. But really, the Unfrozen Caveman Voter intuits a large portion of the art of warfare: opportunities must be created and then exploited — or if they come by luck, they must be exploited all the same. And finally, the use of extreme and otherwise intolerable violence is necessary if used in the service of victory.

I want the way of life and opportunities that I, my sister, my parents, my friends and my peers have had to be available to my potential (to the best of my knowledge) off-springs. Islamofascism with nuclear or BioChem WMD and the appropriate delivery systems is an existential threat to that.

That makes this caveman pissed.

This cavemen wants the full spectrum of US Power (Hard/Economic/Soft/Human Capital) to be used toward opposing this end.

This caveman wants the problem taken care of before the only option left is the absolute and total destruction or Arab/Islamic civilization.

This cavemen is saddened by the large percentage of quislings, anti-anti-islamofascists, fifth columnists, and useful idiots who seem to have a civilization suicidal wish. Now this caveman feels heated up, and just wants to have a diet raspberry ice tea and listen to some Frank Sinatra (or perhaps the Clash) before going to bed (maybe another post or two now that my internet is back up though).

Update: I didn’t notice before, but the article’s author runs the good blog the Adventures of Chester.

Lawfare Attack Being Prepared Aginst Israel

Via LGF:

Here we go again: International jurists group to probe Israel-Hezbollah conflict.

Prediction: these mostly European elite “jurists” will produce a totally unbalanced report focusing on Israel’s “violations of humanitarian and human rights law,” with only the most cursory recognition of the fact that Hizballah is an illegitimate terrorist force using civilians routinely as human shields, targeting civilians routinely with their rockets, and preaching an ideology of genocide.

The 4GW Message that these anti-anti-islamofascists want to send to fence sitters is: Israel is unworthy of your support and you might want to consider actively opposing them. That Israel may squander resources trying to limit the effect of the message is just a bonus to them.

Where My Sense of Urgency Comes From In the War

I made this comment at the Dr Sanity Blog:

Chunky…you are right that given enough time the liberty example could serve as antidote.

Time is the problem.

There is a race on.

The race is between:

1) How long it takes the liberty antidote to fundamentally change Arab/Islamic civilization (How many years or decades?

…and…

2) How long does it take the Islamofascist parts of Arab/Islamic civilization to present a clear and immediate threat to the survival of the US/”The West”/”The Free World” (by acquiring Nuclear or BioChem weapons, credible delivery mechanisms, and by using said weapons or by signaling imminent use).

If #1 occurs first: cool, excellent, and a hearty well-done for all.

If #2 occurs first…well, Arab/Islamic civilization will need to be destroyed in a brutal, direct, and complete way. Our descendants may feel bad about it and have guilt, but it will be done.

The preferred scenario is #1. I am saddened that scenario #2 will most likely be the one to play. There is not a third alternative. The US is never going to adopt sharia, accept dhimmi status, and surrender. It is not going to happen. Was it USS Clueless that wrote (it seem many years ago now) something to the effect…the US can fight 12 wars at the same time if it has to…but those will almost all be Nuclear? The choice for both sides is the same: Liberty or Death.

I have added some links to it. We need to fight for Scenario One, to Avoid Scenario two.

If I sound angry sometimes about anti-anti-islamofascists and useful idiots, it is because they make it more likely that Scenario Two will occur.

More Info on CAIR- The Islamofascist Front Organization

From Mideast Quarterly:

But there is another side to CAIR that has alarmed many people in positions to know. The Department of Homeland Security refuses to deal with it. Senator Charles Schumer (Democrat, New York) describes it as an organization “which we know has ties to terrorism.”[3] Senator Dick Durbin (Democrat, Illinois) observes that CAIR is “unusual in its extreme rhetoric and its associations with groups that are suspect.”[4] Steven Pomerantz, the FBI’s former chief of counterterrorism, notes that “CAIR, its leaders, and its activities effectively give aid to international terrorist groups.”[5] The family of John P. O’Neill, Sr., the former FBI counterterrorism chief who perished at the World Trade Center, named CAIR in a lawsuit as having “been part of the criminal conspiracy of radical Islamic terrorism”[6] responsible for the September 11 atrocities. Counterterrorism expert Steven Emerson calls it “a radical fundamentalist front group for Hamas.”[7]

Bush Uses the “F” Word: Well, if it Walks Like a Duck, and Quacks Like a Duck…

Via LGF:

Right on cue, the Council on American Islamic Relations pegs the Seethe-O-Meter over President Bush’s use of the words “Islamic fascism:” US Muslims bristle at Bush term ‘Islamic fascists’.

Personally, I think it is about time that the enemy gets named correctly.

Western Media At War

LGF has a post with a map showing the (lack of) devastation in Beirut.

LGF shows the media is not reporting on Beirut accurately.

The question –> is it:

  • Sloppy/Bad reporting?
  • anti-anti-islamofascists supporting islamofascists?
  • emotionally involved and dramatizing by reporters on the ground who are in the thick of it?

I always understood the purpose of the American press to present facts to US Citizens so that US citizens can have well informed positions.

I suspect a large percent of the press wants to tell us what are opinions should be.

A well functioning press is a necessary condition of a strong democratic nation. America’s mainstream press institutions are failing U.S. Citizens.

Update: (ht LGF) EU Referendum does the forensics work and shows evidence of the Western media complicity in islamofascists propaganda. It is damning stuff.

Ralph Peters on Israel vs Hezbollah and et al – And Some Thoughts of My Own

Ralph Peters thinks Israelis losing:

All Hezbollah has to do to achieve victory is not to lose completely. But for Israel to emerge the acknowledged winner, it has to shatter Hezbollah. Yet Israeli miscalculations have left Hezbollah alive and kicking.

Israel has to pull itself together now, to send in ground troops in sufficient numbers, with fierce resolve to do what must be done: Root out Hezbollah fighters and kill them. This means Israel will suffer painful casualties – more today than if the Israeli Defense Force had gone in full blast at this fight’s beginning.

I am getting the impression that Israel is not moving fast enough. Initially they did seem to be…but now that seem to be bogged down.

As Peters says:

Israel tried to make war halfway, and only made a mess.

Now that might just the impression I am getting from a press that is largely anti-anti-islamofascist. It seem though that usual suspects are rallying to slow down and stop Israel and to protect Hezbollah.

This is reminiscent of the first batle for Fallujah, where the Marines careful preparation gave the anti-anti-islamofascist time to launch a non-kinetic defense of the bad guys.

Israel has to go in hard and heavy and and do some killing. The have to do it soon – time is not on their side. The US must support this. Afterwards, the US can take the lead in suggesting a SysAdmin force to come in afterwards (as I have blogged on).

Peters further notes:

The situation is grave. A perceived Hezbollah win will be a massive victory for terror, as well as a triumph for Iran and Syria. And everybody loves a winner – especially in the Middle East, where Arabs and Persians have been losing so long.

Israel can’t afford a Hezbollah win. America can’t afford it. Civilization can’t afford it. Yet it just might happen.

True. As always, Peters is worth reading.
